    Coming soon!

2014 Senior Rep Search!

Alright all you juniors, soon to be SENIORS! Erin Kaye Photography is looking for reps from the class of 2014 from the surrounding schools, Manhattan, Belgrade, Three Forks and Bozeman that’s you guys! And I need to get you all signed up soon before baby number two gets here, so jump on it today!  I will take only two or three from each school. Here are the details.

“What’s a rep you ask?”

Well you will be representing me as your senior portrait photographer. You will receive a free session, earn credit to pay for your senior portrait final order and free wallets. Now who doesn’t love free stuff! You will be asked to refer your friends and classmates to me and the more who book with me the more credit you earn toward your portraits! Easy, peasy!

We will book your session at the end of your junior year or the very beginning of the summer so I can put together some materials (rep cards, images for your facebook) for you to hand out to all your compadres over the summer. But the very best way to refer those friends is simply by word of mouth!

So email (erin@erinkayephotography.com) or message me today and tell me why I should choose you! Please include your name, school you attend, what you do for fun and describe your personality!:)

Now for the goods, some of my fav images from the class of 2013!

Patrick’s first hair cut

It was time, time for a real hair cut… I’ve been holding on to cutting his hair, afraid his precious curls would be gone for good, but it was time. Time to let go and just do it. My husband and I have both done the touch ups here and there but not a full on lets go get the hair cut. Patrick hopped right up on the car chair and let her cut away. A slight frown on his face and no words spoken, but at least there wasn’t any tears…. from either of us!

Let’s Do 52 week 2 and 3….

A little catch up this week after the big move into our new home. We are starting to settle in and finding our way around a much “roomier” place, but last week I didn’t get a chance to pick up my camera but I did grab this shot of P for week 2 of Let’s Do 52! Something that makes you laugh…Ahhhh the joys of raising little boys! “I got a booogie mom!”

Week 3, “This makes me wish I could freeze time.” I’ve been trying to mentally prepare myself for a little boy number two to join our family. It seems like just yesterday we were bring Patrick home from the hospital and now he’s two and a half years old. It’s the little things he does daily that I think to myself, I wonder how long this phase in his life is going to last, they all have flown by so fast.

Like the way he lines his trains and cars up when we eats his breakfast. Or how he can’t get enough of bath time, color time or play time with dad before he goes to bed. Its so amazing watching him grow!

Let’s do 52 project! {evening rituals}

One of my new years resolutions is to capture more of our everyday life with my real camera, not just my cell phone:)A couple days ago I came across one of my favorite photographers (Paint the Moon make sure you check out Annie’s website and hop over to her blog and join in Let’s do 52 project!) blogs and she just happened to be starting a project of her own, I decided to give it a go!

Our families evening rituals are probably pretty similar to many of yours. play.wash.read.tuck.kiss.repeat. But it’s the time of day that we are all together, even sometimes just 20 minuets by the time I get home from basketball practice. I get to soak up the last few smiles from the day and sometimes I will get a few cuddles or two. It’s our time. My favorite time.

Beard Family

This family is SO sweet! Mrs. Beard was a teacher of mine in high school and her daughter Mishawn was one of my little brother’s best friends. I love photographing families we grew up with.We laughed and joked the whole session, even though the temp sat right around 10. Thanks Beard Family for letting me capture your family while you were all home for Christmas!
